Holiday Card Ideas

These are some ideas for Holiday cards I have been sketching and painting in the mornings before 6am. My painting hours are from 4-6am…It starts the day out beautifully.

These are  a few of the sketches I did while in Budapest. What a wonderful city. The people, the culture, the kindness….and oh the food. I could not go a day without Apple Strudel. Loved it! A city full of charm, and inspiration. I sketched up 4 sketchbooks while I was there….I will share more…Have a super fantastic day…and find inspiration and possibility everywhere.

The Vortex, Abstract no. 11. Sometimes don’t we all feel like we are entering the vortex. this is a study in that feeling. I see this as a rug, a painting, a backdrop, or a floor cloth, even a scarf.

Close up and Personal-Flowers

Flowers are always an inspiration to me. Living in the desert we only have a few months sprinkled throughout the year where we can see the beauty of the desert bloom. I itch to have flowers around me and there are no florists so I have a creative flower bug going on and I am in the process of dedicating myself to feeling flowers surround me throughout the year..so hence the flower paintings. I am also dedicating myself to a painting a day this coming year. these were painted throughout the week last week, and I will sprinkle some more photos that I am able on our travels but it may be a mass upload when I get back. we shall see..I will try to post a flower a day, or a painting a day as I am going to experiment with surfaces, textures, and techniques..how much fun..time to play.
